Privacy notice
This notice explains what information this website collects and how Marlin Automation uses it. Last updated October 30, 2026.
Who we are
Marlin Automation is an industrial equipment and automation contractor headquartered in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, also operating in Fort Myers, Florida. Contact: mark@marlinautomation.com · 605-759-2505.
Quote / contact form
When you submit the request-a-quote form, we collect the information you provide (name, email, phone, ZIP code, company, service category, message, and any files you attach). We use it only to respond to your inquiry and follow up on the project. Messages are emailed to Mark Gruhlke. We do not sell or rent this information.
Optional file attachments (drawings, specs, photos, PDFs, CAD, and spreadsheets) are validated for type and size, then delivered with your inquiry. Small files may be attached directly to the quote email. When private cloud storage for quote uploads is enabled, files are stored in a private bucket and shared with Mark via secure, unguessable download links; those stored uploads are automatically deleted after 180 days. Do not upload executables, scripts, or unrelated personal files.
The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which may process a token to help prevent spam. See Cloudflare’s privacy documentation for how that service works.
Analytics
This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-oriented analytics product that does not use client-side cookies for measurement. It provides aggregate traffic information (for example page views and referrers) so we can improve the site. Cloudflare processes that data under its own terms.
Cookies and local storage
We do not set advertising cookies. The site may use essential browser features needed for the contact form and security challenge. Your browser may also store preferences for reduced motion or similar settings locally.
Email and phone
If you email or call us, we will use the contact details you share to reply and keep a record of the conversation as needed for the business relationship.
Retention and security
Inquiry emails are retained as long as needed for quoting and follow-up, then handled under our normal business email practices. The site is served over HTTPS. No payment card data is collected on this website.
Your choices
You can contact us to ask what information we hold from a form submission, or to ask us to delete an inquiry record where we are not required to keep it. Email mark@marlinautomation.com or call 605-759-2505.
Changes
We may update this notice when our practices or the site change. The “last updated” date above will change when we do.
